Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

 

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees
  • Prior experience using payroll program software  i.e. ADP, iCims, helpful
  • 1-2 years prior experience in performing typical HR Coordinator duties preferred

 

EDUCATION AND SPECIAL SKILLS

 

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field preferred

Responsibilities

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Provide HR support for approximately 400+ employees
  • Assist with the recruitment process for both Corporate and Field Employees
  • Oversee compliance with all Switch employment policies with the direction and approval of the Switch Vice President of HR
  • Responsible for tracking/reporting of all employment related activities
  • Coordination of all new hire paperwork on Switch field staff and Switch contract employees, including benefit enrollments
  • Administer background check and all pre-employment drug testing processes
  • Work with Switch payroll department in making employee changes (pay, address, direct deposit, titles)
  • Provide back-up to the Switch Payroll Supervisor in the areas of payroll data entry, payroll processing, timesheet coordination, reporting, via ADP
  • Set up and maintain employment files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
  • Handle paperwork related to employee separations
  • Coordinate HR department filing and record retention
  • Assist Vice President of HR with other projects, as needed
