    We are currently looking for an individual to fill the role of Temporary Contract Budget Analyst.  The job specifications include:

     

    Primary Responsiblities

    • In coordination with the Finance and Human Resource Departments, build the 2019 company budget, to include revenue and related margin, labor costs, operating expenses, and capital expenditures for approximately 25 cost centers and all product lines.
    • As part of the budget process create and distribute worksheets to all department managers, incorporating prior year and year-to-date financial data.
    • Reconcile and update all budget revisions as they occur.

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required
    • Minimum three to five years relevant budgeting experience required with companies with multiple product lines and cost centers
    • Must be able to use Microsoft Excel at an expert level. Must have proven experience with V-lookups, pivot tables and ability to link complex worksheets between numerous files
    • Working knowledge of Great Plains accounting software preferred but not required
    • Strong communications skills required and ability to interact professionally and effectively with department managers, senior managers and owners
    • Must be sensitive to dealing with confidential financial data
    • Must be organized and detail oriented, and be able to multi-task with several components of the budget in various stages of completion
    • Must be flexible and committed to completing the annual budgeting project from start to finish. Will not always be 40 hours per week, depending on timing of budget submissions from various department and product line managers.
    • This is not a full-time position. Project will last from late October ‘18 to early February ‘19 (approx. 550 to 600 staff hours).
