  • Overview

     

     

    Primary Purpose and Function of Position:

     

    1. Working with group managers, program directors, senior project managers, clients, account managers/directors this position manages project production and creative in addition to developing the budgets, tracking the costs and managing the bottom line of assigned projects.
    2. They identify and negotiate with external and internal resources to pull project together.
    3. They develop budgetary proposals and company capabilities to clients.
    4. Once the project is sold, they “drive” the project team members to deliver the project on time and on budget and ensure that the creative approach stays focused and consistent with the project’s strategic intent.
    5. Also maintains the project records and prepares the invoices for the project.
    6. At times depending on project specifics will be tasked with credit card coding, entering purchase orders, check requests, entering of field staff timesheets, processing of invoices and expense reports.
    7. Preparing training materials and event specific paperwork for onsite team.
    8. Produce on-site at these events – including traveling on location when necessary.
    9. Set production schedules, purchases and coordinates production of assets, and interviews, recommends and manages new hires for tour/field staff.
    10. Accountable for smooth scheduling and logistics, for thorough coordination of various production elements. Tracking of costs for project elements. 

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Good communication skills, both written and oral
    • Well organized and detail oriented
    • Capable of coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Good execution and follow-up
    • Understanding of production
    • Solid response time in terms of deadlines
    • Ability to handle confidential information
    • Strong customer focus
    • Willingness to work, dependable, flexible hours
    • Self-starter thinks on their feet
    • Able to travel
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & ideally PPT
    • Strategic abilities, thorough understanding of display design, production and technology, solid leadership skills
    • 3 years of associate project management experience
    • Creative direction / leadership experience a plus
    • Experience in multiple client industries
    • Ability to budget and manage a project from beginning to end

     

    Education and Special Skills:

    BA Degree preferred

    Microsoft Office Suite
